When I was going through my divorce, I remember how frustrated, lonely and overwhelmed I felt. Despite being an attorney and familiar with the legal system, I found the divorce process to be confusing, painful and exhausting. There were so many things I wish I had known then, and now as your divorce coach, I want to spare you the mistakes I made and help you become empowered and confident through the divorce process.
I will help you navigate the complex legal process, understand your options, make grounded and clear decisions, save financial resources, and avoid unnecessary pain, stress and mistakes. My background as a lawyer and my training in The Adult Chair® model give me the unique ability to help you make sense of what your legal team is telling you while also caring for yourself spiritually and emotionally through your divorce. With me in your corner, you will have confidence that someone is always looking out for you as you move into your next chapter with hope for the future.

I’m here for you before divorce, during divorce and after divorce.
Many people seek out attorneys and therapists as they figure out if divorce is the best solution. However, lawyers provide legal advice and move individuals through the legal process. Therapists, while trained to sort out causes of the emotional struggle, do not have the specific training of a Certified Divorce Coach (CDC).
I will help you as you navigate the difficult and complicated decision of whether or not to get a divorce. Making decisions at a time when you are emotionally swamped is overwhelming. I can help you understand what to expect and the options available to you should you decide to divorce, including pro-se (do-it-yourself divorce), mediation, collaborative divorce, or litigation.
With no judgment and while tapping into The Adult Chair® model for emotional clarity, I will:
- Educate you about options for divorce and the pitfalls of decision-making
- Help you understand and navigate the legal process
- Explore options for the marriage, whether to work on the marriage, separate, or divorce
- Provide important resources and reading materials
- Assess counseling needs, if applicable, for spouses and children
- Prepare you for the journey of divorce if that is the decision
- Assist you in assembling the best divorce team if if necessary
- Help you manage your emotions
Are you currently in the middle of the divorce process and feeling stressed, panicked and lonely? If so, you are not alone. It’s not uncommon to feel lost in the wilderness of the legal process while dealing with the intensity of emotions that divorce brings.
Divorce comes with a range of emotions and changes to nearly every aspect of life, from housing to friends to healthcare. During this time, you are expected to parent, manage relationships with friends and family, and maintain productivity at work when in reality, you are simply struggling to survive. You might feel alone as you try to share your struggles with family and friends, and they are either exhausted or unavailable. You need someone in your corner who you know is your person, fighting for you each step of the way and there to be a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on when you need it.
During divorce, I will help you navigate the complexities of the legal process while also walking with you as you move forward into the next chapter in your life. I will help you understand your options and what each step is, make grounded decisions, heal emotionally, learn how to co-parent, and how to have healthy relationships with yourself and others.
